Justin Bieber covers Complex magazine's 10th anniversary issue, bloodied and bruised, under the sub-title "Growing Pains." The pop sensation is set to release his sophomore studio effort 'Believe' later this year, and as Complex puts it, "Pop stardom is a contact sport, but at age 18 Justin Bieber knows how to roll with the punches. Believe that."

Inside the cover, Bieber talks everything from girlfriend Selena Gomez, to drugs, to the sacrifices he's made for fame. "There's no way to hide the relationship completely, because then it would be unfair to us," he said of high-profile romance. "It's like, 'You take this car, and I'll take this car, and then we'll meet up at the spot. Then, you go in this door, I'll go in this door. We'll end up crossing ways. You get back in this car. We'll cross over, do a James Bond. You go through the kitchen. I'll go through the back area. Then we'll meet in the dressing room and see each other.' At that point, it's not even a relationship. You're just hiding from everyone. That's unfair and unhealthy, man." 

While he may have a lovely leading lady on his arm, the teen is quick to point out the high price of fame. "I give up a personal life, I give up friends and family to pursue what I love and make fans happy ... There's no point in doing this if I'm not going to be the best," he insisted. 

For Justin, being the best means not giving into temptation or peer pressure. His manager Scooter Braun explained Justin's take on partying with his showbiz peers, recalling, "He called me and said 'Do you know why I'm never going to do that stuff? Because I know you'd walk in and beat the shit out of me.'" Braun added, "He doesn't like being famous. He struggles with not being normal. I'm constantly telling him, 'You're not normal, and since you're living an extraordinary life, I'm holding you to extraordinary standards.'"

Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez may be the most adorable couple, but Justin has set up boundaries when it comes to how close Selena can get to him while he’s working on new music.

Yup, Justin Bieber prefer “NO Selena Gomez” in the studio when he’s recording music, reports DisneyDreaming.com.

According to Justin’s vocal producer Kuk Harrell, Selena isn’t allowed in the studio when Justin is working.

Kuk told HollywoodLife:“Selena does not hang out at the studio. When Justin is in the studio, he’s all about business.”

81-year-old Grandma Tells Justin Bieber Fan: “He has No Interested in You”

Beliebers were sorely disappointed when they tried to call Justin up only to be greeted by a 81-year-old great-grandmother from Texas, reports cbslocal.com

It all started last week when Justin Bieber tweeted “call me right now at” and then added a phone number with the Dallas area code, “214.xxx.xxx?”

The problem is, Justin typed a question mark in place of the last digit. And it turns out that number was pretty darn close to Fleming family’s home number.

So when die-hard fans started dialing different digits, dozens of the errant callers found their way onto Fleming’s answering machine. “Hi, I’m just looking for Justin Bieber,” giggled one female fan.

Another message was left by a hopeless romantic. “Justin, I know you’re there and I love you so much. I’m sorry I called you so late, I just got your number. I love you, I love, I love you so much. Please call me back,” begged another girl.

However, Grandma actually decided to talk to some of beliebers, even telling one girl that “you just don’t realize that he [Justin Bieber] has no interest in you what-so-ever.”

Fleming got tired of all the phone calls, so she changed her greeting on her answering machine. Callers were soon greeted with this recording: “This is not Justin Bieber’s phone number. Please do not call again. Thank you.”

Fleming wasn’t the only local resident to feel the passion of Bieber buzz. A Dallas man was also inundated with phone calls following last week’s tweet.

A Girl Attacked her Boyfriend with Justin Bieber Doll

A police officer Michael Nuanes Jr. was arrested for beating his girlfriend, and claimed in his defense that she threw a Justin Bieber doll at him, leaving a bruise on his foot, reports MSN.com

According to the police affidavit, Nuanes called the figure a “Barbie doll,” but his colleagues on the force helpfully noted in their report that the doll he pointed out was actually a Justin Bieber doll.

The affidavit apparently said:

“Michael Nuanes stated that (his girlfriend) had thrown a ‘Barbie Doll’ at him, which bruised his foot and (said) that it hurt. Nuanes pointed out a ‘Justin Bieber’ doll, which was the item used to injure him.”

The rest of the story is pretty sad. Nuanes’ girlfriend says that in the incident, he pulled her hair out, punched her, kicked in a locked bathroom door to get to her and hit her with part of the door.

Michael Nuanes was arrested and released, and has been assigned to desk duty.
